I think that people around the world like fashion and they like to become a fashionable person. It’s true; even I really like to become a fashionable girl. Some of people like to wear lovely, trendy clothes and shoes in the cheap prices but it should be durable so everyone would love to wear it.
I have seen a sweatshop in Vietnam, there is only 3 toilets for about two thousand people. Each of them usually earns about $200 a year. On average, a migrant worker works about 12 hours a day, 26 days a month. Sweatshop workers earn 1/2-1/4 less of what they need to pay off transportation, food, shelter, clothing, education and energy. People around the world prefer low prices and products are made from in other countries. Many companies make clothes for their country and they also make clothes for another poor countries so people would love to buy it. Almost every single company is forced the factory to make clothes quickly. So it makes the workers don’t want to do it anymore but then, workers cannot refuse because if they do refuse, they will got bully from the head of that company or even they will get the low wages. Lots of companies want to sell it quickly as possible so they are forced the workers to make it immediately and factories don’t want to give them enough time to rest. They treat the workers every day and give them the low wages. Workers work from 6 am to 4 am or even more. If the workers try protesting or go on strike, the owner will find new workers and fire the old ones. The time depends on how well do they do.

I like your personal engagement with the issue. It seems that you learnt something new and it had an impact upon your feelings and attitudes.
ReplyDeleteThis was really well written. You did a great job and the writing was very strong and the voice seemed to be one I would not associate with you. It was very loud and confident and when talking about these subjects I feel that is important. Well written.
